The Chaos of Shopping on Black Friday & Cyber Monday

While others might be sleeping off the meal they had the day before whether it is an oversized turkey, yams, desserts and many other delicious foods of the Thanksgiving holiday. Others were waiting on line at midnight for the stores to open to start their Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving most commonly known as “BLACK FRIDAY.” On midnight at Thanksgiving people waited outside for “early bird specials”, “special discounts.” Which would get you ahead and save you money on your holiday shopping. However, along with the good discounts comes millions of other shoppers who are also trying to find the perfect gifts for their family and friends. Many stores such as Gap, Old Navy, KB Toys, JcPenny, Circuit City, Best Buy and many others opened as early as 4 am on Black Friday to offer amazing discounts. 72 million people shopping online on the Monday after Thanksgiving which has recently been named “CYBER MONDAY.” I think that its ridiculous that so many people are willing to shop so early in the mourning to get really good discounts and wait on line for 2-3 hours to purchase items along with millions of other people I don’t understand why they can’t wait till the following week.
